I thought I would share where this forum comes from.
I was listening to a pod cast, the dirtbag diaries, and heard of one guy, Alastair Humphrey, who decided to have micro adventures. These were local, easily accessible and challenging. Already being keen for adventure but not being able to disappear around the globe for weeks at a time I thought this was a great idea - it's what I've been doing at my weekends anyway. I searched for a dedicated micro adventure forum but found none. Now there is.
