The boost that confinement brought to online sales is gaining new support. BBVA reported this Thursday that, during the first six months of 2020, the number of customer businesses in Spain that offer Bizum as a payment method has multiplied by six. This fact has resulted in billing through this payment method growing more than 400%.
The figures reflect that remote purchases have gained relevance during the crisis due to the change in consumer habits and the simplicity of this payment solution that is already well established among users, according to the entity. Since March, there has been an acceleration in the use of Bizum for paying for remote orders.
